Riders for Readers Book Fair at

Barnes and Noble Bookstores

Dates:  May 7th, 8th, and 9th

Where:  All Barnes and Noble Bookstores

What/Why:  All books, music, cafe items, and cheesecakes purchased in Barnes and Noble Bookstores NATIONALLY will help to support Riders for Readers. Funds raised will be used to purchase books designed to encourage recreational reading among elementary school students.

  Barnes and Noble will give a percentage of the proceeds  to Riders for Readers from store purchases and online purchases when a voucher or voucher number is presented.

Riders for Readers Visit Powhatan Elementary Schools

  On June 17th local Rotary Club members will ride their motorcycles to the 3 Powhatan County elementary schools to deliver books and tee shirts to the children.  This wonderful event is part of the Riders for Readers mission to encourage recreational reading and the love of books among our youth.
